About Jennifer
The past 15 years I’ve had the privilege of telling stories as performance. I started a Readers Theatre group in my community. We have included local author’s short stories as well as classics from the public domain.
When my town started a local radio station and needed content, I created my own “Selected Shorts” radio show. I again pulled stories from the public domain including authors like Virginia Woolf, Ernest Hemingway, Jack London, Willa Cather and more.
My journey into audiobooks came when a friend pointed me to ACX. What excites me most about my work, is sparking a love of literature in the next generation. I believe in the power of storytelling.
I studied theater at San Francisco State University and performed plays here and there over the years in various community theater productions. I enjoy performing on the stage, however, my passion lies in telling stories, drawing the listener into the story and touching their hearts.
When not in the booth, I enjoy being lakeside in the mountains, traveling to new places with my husband, caring for my special needs adult son, or hanging out with my “coven.” I also enjoy puzzles, knitting, and old movies. I live in Sonoma County, California Wine Country, and yes, I’m a wine snob.

The narrator did a fantastic job and her performance really enhanced the tension of the story.
